ICML 2026 · Seoul, South Korea
Senior Event ProducerCitadel's presence at the world's largest machine learning conference. Seoul expected 15,000 participants, the largest international convention ever held in the city.
Twenty years running the biggest stages there are: AI research conferences in Rio and Seoul, a World Cup fan festival in Miami with crowds of 40,000, national tours for Jim Henson, Konami and Pokémon, CES, Comic-Con, PAX and the Super Bowl, and studio productions for Marvel, Bad Robot, Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV+.
Official trailers and event coverage from productions and programs I worked on. Videos play from YouTube and belong to their studios and creators.
Film and television trained me in discipline: call sheets, union crews, safety and budgets. Live events taught me speed. Executive producing combines both, and it's where I do my best work.
I own the program end to end: strategy, budgets and forecasting, timelines, client leadership, and the final recap and reconciliation.
I schedule speakers and own agendas, build run-of-show documents, run technical rehearsals, call cues and support presenters for keynotes and breakout sessions.
Registration, RFID and digital badging, event apps, attendee data and CRM integrations, AV, LED and livestream. I also build AI and automation workflows.
From render to install: I bid and award fabricators, manage vinyl, acrylic, scenic and AV vendors, and negotiate contracts and change orders.
Trade show booths, pop-ups, mobile tours, sampling programs, PR and influencer moments, and fan zones for Fortune 500 brands.
I'm a credited travel coordinator on studio film and series, including travel for political figures on Graves. I handle crew berthing and housing, flights, freight, routing, permits, customs and international shipping.
I've trained 5,000+ agents and brand reps, led 50+ person crews every day, worked with IATSE, Teamsters and SAG-AFTRA, and cast 400 specialty extras and 150 picture cars for one Better Call Saul episode.
Radio Disney's "DJ Natty B," host of a CW prime-time show, emcee for Jim Henson, Konami, DirecTV and TLC tours, and co-host with Mario Lopez and Tori Spelling. I know what talent needs because I've been the talent.
Lightning evacuations, missing freight and half-staffed shifts. I stay calm, make the call and keep the show running.
Producing is half of it. I also pitch new business, negotiate contracts, open new markets and keep clients coming back, for agencies like dentsu, mktg, GMR, Octagon, TEAM and Wasserman, and for brands like Marlboro, Grizzly, Disney and Bank of America.
I ran Bank of America's on-site operations and the viral BofA Fan Band™ activation at Bayfront Park.
I produced the Code and Theory booth at one of the largest marketing-technology conferences in the world.
Senior production for Citadel's presence at the world's leading AI and machine learning research conferences.
As Senior Event Producer for Octagon, I led Bank of America's operations at the FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami. I ran the BofA Fan Band™ activation, part of a national program giving away more than 2 million bands and 10 million beads across all 11 U.S. host cities. It became one of the most in-demand experiences at the festival.

Executive producers get hired for the moments when things go wrong. Here's how I handled them at the World Cup.
Florida thunderstorms rolled in again and again over an exposed footprint. I ran fast, repeatable weather evacuations to keep guests and crew safe, then reset and reopened as soon as it was clear.
More than a million giveaway pieces arrived on 10+ pallets, but only 37 of the 75 scheduled staff showed up. I led a core team of about ten through the sort in a 100°F warehouse, and distribution still went live.
I pushed early for security staffing and bike-rack queuing. When demand surged, I worked with security and on-site police to keep lines moving and guests safe.
The official freight carrier had delays across the tournament, so I re-sequenced inventory and staffing in real time to keep the activation stocked.
Event coverage from the programs, tours and festivals in my career.

For TEAM (Stagwell), I led senior production on Citadel-related programs at ICLR and ICML and on Adobe Summit. I owned technical production, show flow, speaker schedules, session agendas, rehearsals and presenter support.
I've applied to Regis College's online Machine Learning with Python program (2026) to build hands-on AI fluency alongside my event work for AI-industry clients. I also use AI tools every day for production planning, vendor research and documentation.

I've built booths, pop-ups, mobile tour vehicles, scenic installs and film sets, so I know what a drawing costs, how long it takes to build and where it can fail on install day. I hold vendors to the schedule and protect the budget.
Objectives, KPIs, scope and a forecast I can stand behind.
Work with creative on renders, materials and brand standards.
Competitive bids, vendor contracts and procurement.
Shop visits, acrylic, vinyl, scenic, signage and AV specs.
Shipping, customs, crew travel and routing across markets.
Load-in, LED, AV, rehearsals and a cue-to-cue run.
Run-of-show, crew, guests, talent and live problem-solving.
Load-out, reconciliation, metrics and a recap deck.
